Welcome to Local Essentials, a training program specifically designed to equip Men of God to lead, build community, and make disciples during uncertain times. Crises are inevitable, and when they impact our families, churches, or nation, Men of God must be ready to respond, even in the face of adversity.
Our two-step program merges biblical teaching with comprehensive training, preparing you to strengthen family and build resilient disciple making communities.

STEP 1: HALF-DAY PRIMER + INTRODUCTION
Kickstart your journey with our half-day introductory session, where you'll explore the foundational aspects of effective leadership, community, and preparation for difficult times – all inspired by the early church:
Tactics of the Apostles: Learn the strategies that propelled the spread of the Gospel.
Warriors: Standing firm in your faith and mission.
The Battle of Ideas: Navigate the complex landscape of modern thought and its impact on faith.
Small Team Leadership: Discover biblical leadership principles.

STEP 2: FOUR-DAY TRAINING EVENT
Here you will dive deeper into the heart of being prepared to lead your family, church, and community during difficult times. You will be better equipped to make disciples and advance the Gospel through difficult barriers.
This immersive training experience covers:
Tactics of Discipleship: Learning leadership, evangelism, and discipleship strategies modeled by the apostles in the book of Acts.
Warriors: Equipping men to be courageous, selfless, and to lead in the home, church, and community.
Situational & Digital Awareness: Enhancing awareness of your environment and wisely navigating the digital world.
Planning: Effective planning for uncertain times.
The Battle of Ideas: Defending the faith with gentleness and respect.
Interpreting the Bible: Principles for approaching and discovering objective meaning within the text.
The 5 Basic Needs: Advanced preparation for disciples making disciples in crisis. Covers areas of medical, communications, sustenance, protection, and travel.
As Men of God we operate with courage, walking shield to shield into the battle that Christ has won. We love God and people. We lead our families, churches, and communities to Jesus, equipping them to make disciples under any circumstance. We are willing to suffer for the sake of the Gospel, love our enemies, and pray for grace to finish strong. To God be the glory forever!
