  • No, training is low-stress for ages 16 and above

  • Local Essentials Training: Infants and children under 16 are not permitted to attend Local Essentials.

    Global Essentials Training: Infants and children under 16 are not permitted in classrooms or near practical excersises, but we do provide a training program for children ages 12-16 and babysitting for children 11 years and younger at Global Essentials. There may be age exceptions depending on maturity levels.

  • Training fees depend on the phase of training and venue.

    Once training application is approved, trainees are sent payment options for deposit. Once deposit is received, training slot is reserved.

    Remaining balance is due 5 business days prior to training.

    All paid fees will be treated as donations to Tactical Evangelism.

  • Unless the training event is canceled, deposits are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, deposits will be credited to rescheduled dates. 

    Global Essentials training fee covers food, lodging, & training.

  • Yes, all Tactical Evangelism staff and anyone helping with children receive a background check

  • No. All trainees are responsible for their own travel to and from events. We encourge trainees to opt for travel insurance when booking.

  • During the training application process, we will identify food allergies and try to make accommodations.

  • Yes!

  • For training events involving sleeping overnight on site, men and women are either separated by building or by rooms. We try to make accommodations for families who request to be together.

  • No. All trainees must attend the duration of the course.

  • Global Essentials Training: Wakeup is usually 5am and training concludes between 7-9pm.

    Local Essentials Training: Schedules fluctuate.

  • Global Essentials: Training is low-stress but does include some early morning walks on improved and/or unimproved paths with some elevated terrain. Training also involves hands-on practical exercises.

    Local Essentials is similar but varies.

  • Sorry, you’ll have to leave pet’s at home.

  • Bedding is not provided for all trainees, but we do have some extra sets of bedding for those who need it.

  • Nope.
